City of Calgary Pledges $25 million to National Music Centre Project
 

Cantos Music Foundation is thrilled to announce City Council approved a $25-million commitment towards the building of the National Music Centre project at the site of the King Eddy in the East Village.


City Hall Rocks! Busker Invasion
 

Nearly 30 Calgary buskers hit the downtown core on January 26 to thank City Council for its unanimous decision to support the National Music Centre project with a $25 million commitment.

Cantos Launches Creative Spaces Program
 

Cantos recently launched its Creative Spaces program to provide affordable space to the arts community and help encourage education, collaboration, cooperation, creation and performance of music.

Cantos is an amazing collection. Cantos is engaging programs. And Cantos is community. Using our world-renowned collection of more than 700 musical artifacts, our cultural spaces and our expertise, we offer programs ranging from teaching kids math through music to using music to help seniors with Alzheimer's coax memories of days gone by.
