Creative Spaces

A fundamental part of our mission is to use our cultural space to create engaging music experiences for the community.

So, in 2010, Cantos has launched its Creative Spaces program that provides affordable space to the arts community to help encourage education, collaboration, cooperation, creation and performance of music.

The results so far, have been fantastic with some interesting and eclectic groups holding events here at Cantos including Collective on Sundays with Random Task Collective, Shot at the Dark with Calgary Is Awesome, a Chester Thompson drum workshop with Long and McQuade, a workshop on cultivating your career as a composer with the Canadian League of Composers and many many more.
