Corporations

We at Cantos are so grateful to our corporate friends who support our collection, our programs and our vision for the future. There is so much opportunity for small, medium and large corporations to get involved and be a part of our mission to engage the community through music. Here's how:

Give

We gratefully accept gifts directed toward the area of greatest need. Your gift can make a difference for school children, emerging artists, seniors and other members of the community - 30,000 of whom benefit from Cantos' collection and programming every year.

Sponsor a Program

To target your giving to a specific area of need or audience, sponsoring a Cantos program is an excellent community investment strategy. If your organizational mandate is to support education, perhaps Key Concepts is the right program for you. If seniors' health and wellness is a priority, Music Express might be a good match.

Currently, we are actively seeking sponsors for our new Blue Mondays All Ages Jam and Workshop series! Please contact Scott Decksheimer or Jeni Piepgrass for more information.

Matching Gifts

One of the easiest, most efficient ways for an organization to help is to match their employees' giving. Adding Cantos to your list of supported organizations makes you a leader in developing  Calgary a centre for music in Canada.  To learn more, contact Scott Decksheimer or Jeni Piepgrass.

Volunteering

According to the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy, the benefits of running a corporate volunteer program are many, including:

  • Enhanced, closer, and more trusting working relationships, higher morale and greater job satisfaction at the company
  • Increased pride and positive feelings about the company
  • Improved corporate image, reputation, and perception of the company
  • Enhanced corporate visibility in the community (from volunteers and the media)

To get your people involved at Cantos, contact Scott Decksheimer or Jeni Piepgrass.
