Wednesday March 10Calgary Artists for Haitian Relief: International fundraising efforts for Haitian earthquake survivors will take on a distinctly local flavour on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 as Calgary artists gather to raise funds for a Canadian-founded, Haitian orphanage destroyed in the earthquake that devastated that country on January 12, 2010. 

Featured artists include: The Dudes, Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra with Kris Demeanor, Corb Lund, Woodpigeon, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald with his Loud Love Choir, The Polyjesters and Denise Clarke, Jan Lisiecki, Sheri D. Wilson, Bravo!FACT, Cantos Music Foundation, DJ Rob Faust, and Curiously Canadian Improv.

Artists present a 10-minute showcase then get 30-minutes of one-on-one feedback. The Rosette Guitar Duo:"Meditations" 7.00pm. The Rosette Guitar Duo has performed hundreds of shows across Canada and have produced four recordings of original compositions. Both members are classically trained concert guitarists in their own right and bring this level of attention to detail, passion, and skill to the Duo's music. This devotion to the performance aspect of music combined with each members varied musical experience and wide range of influences creates a rich palette of sounds that resists catagorisation and truly sets the Rosette Guitar Duo in a league of its own.
